Your corners are curled The oils from a hundred pairs of hands Have soaked through your skin Leaving your fibres Tarnished Your broken-in spine Is old and tired It won’t ever be the same again Your pages are many Counted in years Careworn Not torn But your corners have become curled B Philippe
