This lifts an ordinary everyday moment in to the heavenly spaces where the little things that make up βlifeβ belong. Living in the moment becomes an art form πππ
Thereβs something deeply human here β that instinct to guarantee sweetness when we donβt trust the half. It feels less like indulgence and more like protection against disappointment. βPlink plinkβ says more than it seems.

A perfectly captured little moment. I love the tiny stories like this that happen in life.
Thanks for stopping to appreciate it with me π
Utterly delightful!
Nβaw, thank you! β€οΈ
A poem about a sweetener Do you have sweet &low and nutrasweet
Iβm pretty sure we can get those brands here too - but what we use is Sweetex for tea and Canderel for cooking π
That half cut sweetener tablet is so oddly dear to me, I got attached to it right away..!
I couldnβt bear to throw it away π
Thank you!
Plunk plunk
that just has a flow!
Thanks for coming along to ride it with me! I appreciate the comment more than I can say β€οΈ
Is stevia or something more sinister your sweetener of choice?
A lovely moment in timeβ¦
Thanks Christine! Sweetex is our usual - specifically because it has the lowest break-rate out of all the tabs weβve tried π€£
That must be a UK thingβ¦I hadnβt heard of that oneβ¦π§
I like sweetβ¦my waistline does notβ¦π
Youβve sweetened my day, B! Cheers!
Really nice, capturing a moment and using words to make it beautiful (I probably should have used 'sweet' there).
Sparkly little moment that made me go π‘! Substack poem! π
Thanks Gary

and I would drink it with joy!
I donβt care for sugar, but thatβs just me. I will take a bit of honey, though, and drop it in my tea.
A pretty little rhyme! π Thanks Paul
but what demons lurk in those sweeter-than-sugar pellets i love. π
Every delight has its price π
Sugar! Brown sugar, not those awful pills. But, you've got to do what's good for you. π
Cute/ i enjoyed this, a little different. Your book is suppose to arrive friday
βA little differentβ is what I strive for - everything else has been done before! π Thanks very much for reading, Bill
